GYTC8S Figure.8 self-supporting aerial optical cable

The optical fiber is set into a high modulus loose tube made of polyester material. The tube is filled with waterproof compounds. The optical fiber has excess length, so that the optical fiber could be unstressed. In the center of the cable core, there is a metal reinforced core. Loose tubes and the gasket for packing are stranded around the central reinforcer to form tight and round cable core. All the interstices of cable core are filled with water-blocking compounds. Being packed in longitudinal direction, the plastic-coated steel is integrated with steel stranded wire to form a 8-shaped cable with PE sheath.

GYTC8A Figure.8 self-supporting aerial optical cable

The structure of GYTC8A optical cable is that the optical fiber is sheathed in a loose tube made of high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with waterproof compound, and the center of the cable core is a metal reinforced core. Loose tubes (and filling ropes) are twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and round cable core. The cable core is longitudinally wrapped with a layer of plastic-coated aluminum tape and integrated with steel wire stranded into a figure-eight polyethylene sheath.
